New features and more ways to connect!

So often in life it’s the small things that can make a big difference.

The same is true at Solar Analytics and we are excited to share several small updates that provide huge benefits for solar owners.

Retail meter integration

Solar Analytics was proud to be the first solar company to become fully accredited to receive data from your retail electricity meters (we call it Integrated+) in late 2023.

For solar owners who don't have an inverter consumption meter, Integrated+ allows us to pull consumption data directly from your retail meter, saving you around $400 on the cost of the consumption meter.

Recently, we released two more updates to this service adding even more value and functionality.

  • If you have controlled load in your home (eg off peak electric hot water) we can now show you exactly what your controlled load is consuming and how much it costs. This allows you to understand what makes up your bill, and in conjunction with our free Solar Maximiser calculator, understand exactly how much you could save by changing to a heat pump, adding more solar or a battery.
  • Secondly, we also released a new automation service which allows us to pull your current tariff information from your electricity retailer. This saves you time and even better, ensures any future tariff changes are automatically updated so your savings calculations are always accurate.

Catch Power Control integration

Catch Power is a fantastic Australian company who provide control and monitoring hardware.

We are excited to announce that users of Catch Power Control products can now integrate with Solar Analytics.

Catch Control is an increasingly popular alternative to inverter consumption meters and provides additional control functions.

When installed with web connected and compatible Goodwe, Sungrow, Fronius, GE or LG inverters, Solar Analytics can display Catch Control data in exactly the same way as traditional consumption meters.

As a reminder, Solar Analytics can now receive data from:

  • Catch Power Control relays in compatible applications
  • WattWatchers A6M and 3RM hardware
  • All Sungrow inverters and hardware
  • All Fronius inverters and hardware
  • Selected Goodwe inverters and hardware
  • All GE inverters and hardware
  • Selected LG hybrid inverters and hardware
  • Reclaim heat pumps equipped with wifi connectivity
  • Retail electricity meters with eligible retailers
